TEENS PROJECT MONITORING VISIT IN T/A MIZINGA

4/23/2026

We conducted a monitoring visit for the TEENs Project in Traditional Authority Mizinga in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA). The visit brought together key stakeholders, including the Machinga District Gender Officer and Traditional Authority Mizinga, among others.

The exercise aimed to assess project progress, strengthen engagement with beneficiaries, and gather insights to improve implementation. It also provided a platform for collaboration and accountability among partners and local leadership.

As part of the activity, recreational materials including bawo boards and balls were distributed to various safe spaces to support youth participation, well-being, and social interaction.

The TEENs Project is supported by the Embassy of Ireland through UNFPA, in partnership with the Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA).
