YOUTH IMPACT ON GLOBAL STAGE AT G20 SOCIAL SUMMIT

Youth Impact Organization’s Executive Director, Belinda Somanje Chimombo, is in South Africa attending the G20 Social Summit, taking place from 18–20 November in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng. The international gathering brings together civil society leaders, governments, and global partners under the theme “Solidarity, Equality, Sustainability.”

The summit focuses on key global issues such as digital inclusion, climate justice, fair trade, and just economic systems. South Africa’s Deputy President opened the event, with President Cyril Ramaphosa expected to receive the G20 Social Declaration at the closing ceremony.

Belinda joins other leaders from across the world in shaping conversations that highlight community needs, youth, Women empowerment, and inclusive development. Her participation positions Youth Impact Organization within global dialogue spaces and strengthens the voice of Malawian youth, Women and all the vulnerable groups on the international stage.
